FAQ

Can I use Address Validation if I use a shipping method other than FedEx, UPS, or USPS?

Yes, you can. The extension doesn’t affect the shipping methods you’re using. It only verifies whether the address is correct according to the services you selected in the extension settings.

I entered some existing addresses, and the extension shows they’re wrong!

The extension collects all the entered information and sends it to the validation service (UPS, USPS, or FedEx). It then receives a response and provides a suggestion based on it. If the service doesn't recognize the address, you may need to switch to another service or contact their support team for assistance.

Do we need to pay some extra costs, except the extension price?

The extension relies on the APIs of Google, FedEx, UPS, or USPS to check whether the address is correct. Currently, access to the APIs is free, but their owners may change the pricing in the future.
