Introducing Our New Address Validation Extension for Magento 2!

We are thrilled to announce that our Address Validation extension for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source is now available! This cutting-edge tool is designed to revolutionize your shipping process, ensuring that your packages always reach the correct destinations and eliminating the frustrations of incorrect addresses.

What does this extension do?

Our Address Validation extension empowers you to verify shipping addresses before orders are placed, preventing the costly and time-consuming errors associated with incorrect deliveries. This extension lets you decide whether to allow or deny shipping to incorrect addresses, offer address corrections to customers, and customize the validation messages as needed. It validates shipping addresses during checkout and within customer profiles, enhancing the user experience by ensuring consistency and accuracy across all interactions.

The extension offers robust support for UPS, USPS, FedEx, and Google validation services. Utilize FedEx's extensive validation service, which covers approximately 50 countries and territories, ensuring that international shipping addresses are verified precisely. Integration with Google API provides accurate validation worldwide, though coverage for smaller cities may vary. UPS and USPS provide robust validation services for addresses within the USA. Simply input your account and API details, and let the extension verify the addresses accurately.

Activating and configuring the Address Validation extension is a breeze. You can define settings for handling incorrect shipping addresses, customize the content displayed to customers, and adjust notifications for invalid addresses or suggested corrections. Our extension supports multiple validation services, including UPS, USPS, and Google Maps, ensuring that addresses are verified accurately. This diverse range of services allows you to choose the best fit for your business needs. Additionally, to avoid complications with shipping to P.O. Boxes, our extension allows you to set restrictions, ensuring smoother shipping operations by disallowing P.O. Box addresses and directing all deliveries to valid street addresses.

A few frequently asked questions highlight the flexibility and functionality of the Address Validation extension. It is compatible with any shipping method you choose, as it does not interfere with your chosen shipping methods but solely verifies the correctness of the address according to the selected validation services. If some existing addresses are marked as incorrect, it is due to the responses from the selected validation services (UPS, USPS, or FedEx). Switching to a different service or contacting their support team may help resolve the issue. Access to the APIs of Google, FedEx, UPS, and USPS is free, but service providers may change their pricing in the future.

Configurable features.

The list of configuration options is available in the user guide. You can enable or disable the extension, customize titles for validation alerts, decide whether to allow checkout with invalid addresses and configure notifications. In the validation configuration section, you can select the preferred validation service (UPS, USPS, Google, or FedEx), ensuring coverage that fits your needs. UPS and USPS cover only the USA, Google offers worldwide validation, and FedEx supports around 50 countries. P.O. Box restrictions can be set to detect and disallow P.O. Box addresses, ensuring all deliveries go to valid street addresses, with specific error messages configurable for these restrictions.

Our Address Validation extension is designed to streamline your shipping processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and reduce the risk of delivery errors. You can ensure that your packages reach their destinations accurately and efficiently by leveraging reliable validation services. We are confident this tool will be a valuable addition to your Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source setup, helping you maintain a seamless and error-free shipping experience.
